在17世紀大航海時代，荷蘭東印度公司來到大員（大灣），建造了臺灣的第一座市鎮，「大員」成為日後「臺灣」名字的由來，而那一座臺灣歷史最悠久的市鎮就是——安平。大航海時代也是臺灣跨入世界舞臺的開始，來自不同地方的人渡海而來，使得臺灣成為一個充滿豐富文化的島嶼。
而現在的安平沿海一帶是親水活動愛好者的秘密基地，我們與教練、船家合作提供隱藏版的安平水上活動行程如風帆、獨木舟、衝浪與重型帆船，亦可輕鬆搭乘生態膠筏認識台江國家公園的特色風貌（冬日還可欣賞黑面琵鷺）。{關於我們}
Anping – the origin of Taiwan history
It was the sea 400 years ago where TAIOWAN ONE PIECE ANPING HOUSE now located. Anping was Taiwan’s oldest town established by the VOC during the dutch-ruled period in Age of Discovery, and people called here TAYOUAN (aka TAIOWAN) which is the origin of the name of TAIWAN. And it was the land where people came across the seas from different places met each other and made Taiwan an island breeding rich and colourful culture.{about us}
